Field Notes: We were lucky to score a few bags of these beans from our friends at Aloha Star Farms. Armando and Karina Rodriguez grow these hand-picked beans in the Ka’u Region near Volcano National Park on the Big Island of Hawaii.
Best Use: Drip, pour-over, Hawaiian-grown espresso
Bean Details: Washed coffee with mixed varieties, typica, catuai, and lempira
Roast Profile: A little higher development time gives this coffee a little more rounded out mouthfeel. Great for the customer looking for a slightly darker roast than our Kona roast.
